Low maintenance shutter system for extreme laser beam up to 2 kW
The laser shutter was developed for the safe blocking of laser beams and X-rays at extremely high radiation power up to 2 kW. The system consists of a laser shutter and an integrated shutter control for different operation modes. As a result, this laser safety shutter offers you considerable advantages:

Robust construction with water cooling
Instead of the processing beam, a pilot laser is coupled in via another deflection mirror mounted on the thrust bearing, which displays the position of the laser on the workpiece.Safety-certified limit switches in double design monitor the position of the thrust bearing with the mirrors. In this way, safety with performance level E is achieved.A controller is included in the assembly, which activates the motor when the active signal is applied and thus moves the deflection mirror out of the laser beam. After the signal drops, the mirror moves back into the closed position automatically. The reliability of the assembly has been proven in a life cycle test according to statistical criteria. It resists shocks and vibrations despite its minimal weight. It requires only a low drive power and is extremely compact with only a few moving parts.
Individual extensions and customizations
Engineering services include the fitting of the systems to your structure and the desired controlls. Furthermore, we develop prototypes and like to adapt the systems to the environmental requirements of your application particle emission, radiation, temperature, precision special parts manufacturing, working height, collision protection, safety concept, compensation factor and filter, sensor mounting, brake, decoupling, special lubrication, special colors, holders, adapters, special motors with pharmaceutical approval, comprehensive documentation, test protocoll, llife cycle tests
